sheefreak
What is he using for an intake? I have had no problems w/mine either, but have heard of several people having problems because the particular intake they use does not put pressure on the middle insert that holds the reeds in. Animalman294
It sounds like the II's a little while back. There were post saying that they were junk because the screws were coming out after install. You just need to make sure that you are careful when they are put in. I haven't heard of anyone having problems with them, but there is a first. Before I gave up on them completely you may want to try them or even help your friend install them again and this time check, check and recheck............ DRI4life
it doesnt take a pro to install reeds in fact its very easy. i believe v force reed are the most complete POS reeds on the market. i could go on about them but they speak for them selves.. why would they manufacture a reed that could be modified for more performance?? doesnt make sense.. do the best for your bike and buy a set of PYRAMID reeds. talk to loren or lenny duncan about v force. what a fucking joke
MILO
haven't had any problems with my v3's yet either, just installed about a month ago though.
shee4202
has anybody with the v-force3 reeds had or tried the v-force2 reeds and if so what is the difference
kb7kuh
I got them when they first came out. I had the 2's but the corners rounded off. I put the stock reeds back in and there was a world of difference. It was doggy out of the hole. I got the 3's and it was like turning on a light switch. Just make sure they tight and you will be good to go. As far as them being junk, I guess each to his own. Anything else I would Edited June 5, 2006 by kb7kuh

race-a-holic
I'm happy for you if you haven't had problems.Might have just been a fluke incident. We put in a set of boysen rad valves. It runs strong. I actually went from boysens to v-force 2's.I like the v-force 2's but couldn't tell any difference.
