BigRed350x
Selling the cub cylinder I bought, stepping up to something bigger. Stock- Stroke, 65mm Bore, Nicasil plated, K&T ported Cub Cylinder. $800 Has somewhere between 50-75hrs on it. If you have a 4mm stroke 5mm longrod crank and would like to run these cylinders, I can provide stroker domes and a spacer plate, and pistons for you for $100 more. You can use either the stroker plate or stroker domes if you want to run it with a 4mm. I ran it with a 4mm stroker longrod crank and it ran awesome. Here's a video of it in action. http://media.putfile.com/MOV00049-20 http://media.putfile.com/dunes53 Here's some pics as well. The Reeds, spacers, and intakes DO NOT come with the cylinders, I will be re-using them on my next build. Sorry. $800 PM me if interested. I use Paypal. BigRed350x
If $800 is too high, make me some offers. If I don't sell them in the next week, they go on ebay.

BigRed350x
if it was a 68mm bore i would be sending you money right now. I know that is going to make it a little harder to sell. Not that much of a difference between the 68's and the 65's if you set the rest of the engine up right. I was running side by side with a 68 out at KP a while back. If you can tune your bike right and know how to ride its not that big of a difference. It's only 10% bike and 90% rider remember. I know what you are saying though, everyone is only concerned with displacement numbers... I know that is going to make it a little harder to sell. 2bzy2p
there is a difference in a 68mm and 65mm for one ud have to run big bore pipes with the 68mm and there is more torque that comes from the 68mm and u said it yourself alot of it is the rider so u sayin there isnt much difference because u kept up with it is a contradictory statement as far as price ya your high u can get new cub barrels for that price,, especially with your cubs havin 50-70 hrs thats alot of usage

BigRed350x
Like I said, if I can't sell it here it will go on ebay next week. I also said... make me some offers. I kinda like the 65mm bore since you can still run all the normal pipes with it, you don't have to go spend another $4-600 on new big bore pipes, you can use whatever you have. I am 200lbs and this scoots me around pretty damn good. I don't think they make the 65's any more do they? Everyone wants the 68's. Hell, I do. lol If I can't sell it I will probably hold onto it and put it on another banshee down the road. Thinking about getting an 06 since it will be the last year you can get them new. there is a difference in a 68mm and 65mm for one ud have to run big bore pipes with the 68mm and there is more torque that comes from the 68mm and u said it yourself alot of it is the rider so u sayin there isnt much difference because u kept up with it is a contradictory statement as far as price ya your high u can get new cub barrels for that price,, especially with your cubs havin 50-70 hrs thats alot of usage Yes, you can get new ones for $875 but not ported by a big-name builder. Porting you are looking at $3-400 on top of the cylinder price, then the price to get it re-nicasil'd after they go all over it with the tools. $900 for the cubs, $350 for port, $?? for nicasil $800 isn't too bad IMO, especially since they are in excellent condition, with the hone still visible. Make some other offers if you think its too high. At least I'm honest about how much time I have on them.

dajogejr
Free Bump, Big Red... 2b... Once again you've pretty much shit on someone's for sale add... Big Red is honest about their use...provided pics, etc. While I'm not starting a war of words with you, it would be nice to keep your discussions where they belong, in the discussion forums and not the for sale forums... Not trying to be a dick...but what's right is right....C'mon now...
2bzy2p
i dont shit on noones for sale add unless they deserve it,, and big red is one who deserves it from the get go on here thats all he used to do besides deal with a lil truth ill correct someone if there wrong im not gonna let them falsifie stuff to sell.. so what he was honest on the hours!!! its used !!!!! whether 5hrs or 70hrs
dajogejr
What is he falsifying, for one...and you're debating big bore pipes, small bore pipes, for two. Are you not? It's not his business to know exactly what K&T charges for all that work...he was estimating. While personally...I think his starting price was a tad high. However...he fully said make offers or they'll go on ebay... All this worthless ranting about what pipes will work, this isn't the right place. Besides...the majority of builders DO sell cubs for 875, AND charge for porting on top of that. Because you got a good deal doesn't mean everyone will. He was honest about the hours, honest about the work, and I feel honest about what the average shop will charge for the parts and labor... I don't think it's in Big Red's best interest to go builder to builder to builder and see what they charge...do you? That's the buyers responsibility.... When I bought my cub, I called several builders. I always planned on buying from Jeff, but you have to price shop. In the end...I won twice...best price and his fantastic customer service. It's just like that guy with the almost new Rocket Pipe's for sale post. Personally...I think they're crap. That's MY OPINION, and I"m entitled to it. I actually demo'd a set from Ray....and wasn't impressed... That's not to say that guy can't get top dollar for them, and he is clearly entitled to that as well...
