differentstrokes
I've ran maxima 927 on my 04 and got about 30 hours out of it before it popped. I always ran it @ 32:1. I'm thinking of running a new oil once I get it back together, but I love the smell of 927. Anyone had a good or bad experience with this oil? trex banshee
I have had nothing but good from it since i changed over to it. I always ran HP2 and loved it but it does not mix with alcohol so I had to switch, and Andy at GRR told me to run the 927 and I did with no complaints. apbt549
what caused your engine to pop was it something to do with the oil or maybe a part failure? i have used maxima 927 for 3yrs and never had a problem with it...
shanYE west
Every one of my builders have told me to use 927. I've had no problems with it.
WALLACE84
I personally wouldnt change it. I have ran 927 ever since I got my 02 with no problems Edited May 30, 2006 by WALLACE84
differentstrokes
I'll probably stick with it, chances are it was a part failure. The motor looked pretty clean when I pulled everything.

Slayer1018
Hey Different Strokes, how do you like those Elkas? Are those the Recreational Series? Nice!
lowriderb
ive ran 927 and klotz (both only because they mix with alcohol) with no problems out of either oil.. the only reason we run klotz now is because its red and you can see its mixed easier than 927 in a jug.. differentstrokes
Hey Different Strokes, how do you like those Elkas? Are those the Recreational Series? Nice! They're the rec series dual rates valved for +2 arms (180-200lbs), they're pretty soft. I think the triple rates would have been way to soft for the type of riding I do. They're waaaaayyy better than stock. I might not end up with the most powerful motor out there, but what's power if you can't control it? Suspension makes my bike. Definitely a good buy, I'd recommend them to everyone. I might get some rezzies soon.
ElDiablo52
I thought $42 was alot for my gal of klotz, ahwell I think im gonna stick with it, sure beats the lawn mower premix I ran when I first got my bike cuz my friend had it laying around and it was like 1 am when we went riding. But ive tried maxima super M and yamasplooge 2R and I think the Klotz mixes better but I might try going a little leaner it seems like it smokes more now with the klotz at 32:1 mmm but it smells so good with my 110/89 mix. Good shit.
