JArmShee Posted May 23, 2006 Report Share Posted May 23, 2006 After a year I finally got my shee back together and Tried to start it for the first time yest. As soon as I turn the fuel on and the bowls filled up. one of the air drain tubes from the left side carb started draining fuel. Its the one that goes to the bottom of the bowl. The carbs are 33PWK Besides removing and cleaning again can anyone think of a reason why this would happen? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Animalman294 Posted May 23, 2006 Report Share Posted May 23, 2006 You might check your float and make sure it doesn't have a leak, because if it doesn't float high enough the fuel will not shut off and will start to overflow........... JArmShee Posted May 23, 2006 Author Report Share Posted May 23, 2006 I just got it back together as I said. This was our first attempt at starting it has compression and spark. dajogejr Posted May 23, 2006 Report Share Posted May 23, 2006 Take the carbs off, remove the bowl, and flip the carb upside down. The bottom of the float should be level, or just above level... That's close enough... You might want to remove the float, (small dowel pin) and remove the needle and seat and blow some air through there...to make sure there is no dirt stuck. Either improper float level, dirty needle and seat...or sunken float will cause gas to pour out the overflow tube. Sunken or bad floats are pretty rare now a days....
