kehighfield60
i have a 2000 banshee. i recently bought a slightly used motofast 2 into 1 pipe. i have been told that they are much better than the new dynoports so thats why i found this one. the problem i have is i dont know about jetting. a kid i know is good at it and is going tos how me how to do it but isnt sure on jet sizes. i live at 1000 feet above sea level. the only other mods i plan on doing is a cool head and impeller and eventually a trinity 2 into 1 carb. but that wont be for a few months. so i was wondering on jet sizes now and perhaps then if any one has this pipe. i have a twin air air filter and im probably going to keep it with the stock box when i get the new carb. any help will be appreciated. Thanks Edited May 22, 2006 by kehighfield60
2strokesmoke
start at around 270 and come down ,you should be around 240 or
Gunner
I've had one of these pipes in the past myself - I'd say start off around 260 and work your way down. Run the pipe for a few months before ordering the Stage 4 carb kit - you might find the performance with the stock 26's to be quite adequate! Also, keep in mind this is a LOW RPM pipe, so short shifting is the key to going fast. If you do opt for the Trinity CV carb kit, tell them your mods and then follow their advice. I'm sure they will steer you towards the 33mm carb - an awesome choice with this pipe! Oh yeah, and buy your riding buddies some ear plugs - those Motofast pipes sound absolutely WICKED to the bystanders, although you won't notice much of a change in tone sitting on the drivers seat. Enjoy! 89Steeda
Love the sound of that pipe. Kinda sounds like a Formula 1 car.
