BansheeBrian
So how do you guys push the pins back in the master link? How do you push the pins put? they're not finger tight 520465 Small clamp to get the link back together. For pins out. just a large flathead screwdriver and give it a twist.Just have to mind the o-rings in the process. MILO
i used to grind off the pins and punch them out, then use a small c-clamp to press it back together. sport bike o-rings chains are a real bitch sometimes to press together too. that works fine and will get the job done, but for less than $30 worth of of tools, chain breaker and chain press, it is a hell of a lot less hassle. i don't remember what kind the breaker is, but my tusk press works great. it looks identical to the motion pro but costs a lot less. Bansh88
Of all the worthless tools I have bought, my chainbreaker has been the best investment.
racer
Dude. What are you guys talking about grinding? Get a chain breaker. (motion pro, tusk, whatever. it aint 150-200 bucks!) Undo the master link. Take a regular link of chain out and press the master link back to the chain. Your done. Don't grind anything on your chain. Your going to fuck it up. 519929 we have a motion pro chain breaker at work and it requires grinding. the kit was like 175, but maybe its not your average kit. it includes everything to break from a 420 to a 630 chain, and all the tools to press it back together.
