But the first step is to acknowledge that 04le never stops boasting about his Holier Than Thou half baked religious idealism. As far as I can tell, Banshee04le shouldn't preach to people when he obviously can't live by his own words! That's just common sense. Of course, the people who appreciate his remonstrations are those who eagerly root up common sense, prominently hold it out, and decry it as poison with astonishing alacrity. I, for one, think this is tragic, and every intellectually honest person knows it. If you guys had half a brain you would know that beliefs are not the same as values. Values are what you actually manifest in the real world. For example I believe that I shouldn't kick your ass if you got smart with me in person but in the real world I would probably do it. So you see, I'm not blind to my hypocrisy but at least I look towards better things than you with my beliefs and they can only make me better. Just because we cannot always DO what is virtuous, and no one can or does all of the time, does that mean that we should be afraid to confront ourselves and examine ourselves against what is known to be true and good in an effort to achieve greater self awareness? Bottom line is this, I respect your decision to not believe in these self evident truths of what is virtuous. You have the free will to turn away from them and embrace Dante's inferno. 75% of this country is Christian and we choose to embrace these BELIEFS. We respect you, now respect us and leave us alone or suffer the wrath of God I guess, I don't know.
