I 've been surfing that christian forum for the last couple of days and I've never seen such a concentration of ignorant, self centered, narrow minded, hypocritical, racist, holier than thou fuckheads in all my life....at first I thought it was hilarious looking throught the posts and laughing at how brainwashed these people are, then I got a look into their thought process and it was scary, they fight over everything, they push their inturpreted belifes onto someone who interprates them differently, and namecalling seems to be common place over there. They argue over who's more of a born again christian than the other, and even call each othere the antichrist lol. I am totally floored at how screwed up these people are. One thread proceeded to explain how barbershop quartet music was the real devil music, in part because it was started by blacks :baseball_shocked: These folks are so full of themselves they are dangerous! Looking from the outside in it can look silly and is many times but, thats the same on any given subject. I believe the more passionate you are about any given topic (and the deeper you go) the more potential to bring out our own pettiness.To let you in on what shocks me is not pettiness ,but how naive some are about human nature. Jesus never promises utopia here, but he does promise us trouble. I do agree though when you expect to see a rose garden but you see a tar pit it can be dissappointing and you do have that in common with God.He will judge us all, not you. remember when you point a finger (judgement) at others 3 more are pointing back at you).Thats why the scripture says, take the log out of your own eye before you attempt to take the speck out of others eyes! It was funny, if someone should post and state that the bible storys were a little embellished and gave good reason why he thought so and how god ment for us to understand it (his interpretation), he got blasted for it, people calling him a looser and not a christian or an antichrist, it was rediculus. This was just 1 post of very many that turned into the same thing, but the never carried on long because the thread would be locked , posts deleated and the topic moved where it could only be veiwed. The whole site was rediculus, but I still have fun posting topics and hearing what they have to say, there are about 2 people over there that have half a brain, but the don't use it much do to the flaming they recive if the fall the slightest from conformity. Nor did I "recruit" helldriver, I just let him know about it, I suspect he already new what it was all about, thus not bothering to join. Nobody, in all of history, has ever succeeded in proving that god exists. The only way to believe in god is via 'faith'... in other words, wishful, magical thinking. The same reasons that children believe in the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy. Some stars are millions of light years away, therefore this light sorce would be much older than the one created on the "fourth day".
