Mopar_440
Ok, so I pulled the carbs off my 89 banshee and noticed that only one carb has a idle adjustment screw, and one carb doesnt. and for some reason, in the mid-range RPM's (3rd and 4th gear) the motor acts like it wants to die out and acts like it runs on one cylinder. Could it be the reeds? what could be causing this, thanks.
dajogejr
Need more info. TORS removed? Could be reeds, could be jetting. List of mods done? Could be the carbs are hosed because one has been drilled for an idle screw, the other hasn't...and if it's not drilled, how does it idle?? I'm more confused now for writing this... Remove TORS, if not already done. Get the idle for both carbs installed. Check the reeds. List your mods. List your jets. Try fresh gas/oil and new plugs, too.
