cloeter
Hi guys, I bought me a new wiseco 4mm Hotrod stroker crank and a set of 1.5 oversize wiseco pistons. My question is what size domes do you think I should use on the head, and what should the expected horsepower be on the current setup??? 4mm Hotrod Stroker Crank 1.5 Oversize Wiseco Pistons FMF Fatty PowercoreII pipes Standard size carbs Coolhead 19cc domes Reed Valves Prow Flow Airfilter with no lid Ported as well Will I be in the mid 50's hp and are the 19cc domes a good setup or should I go bigger? chase@miamiatv.com
with that setup and a nice port job you can very from 50-80 ????
fastbanshee8
You need to have your domes cut, to accept the pistons, because the pistons will come up out of the cylinders 2mm, and hit the domes, if they aren't cut. 18cc or 19cc domes should be fine, once they are cut. fastbanshee8
Didn't want to see you destroy a brand new top end.
Wallrat
Depending on your porting you'll either need some new cyls or some new porting. If you just drop the crank in I'd say you'd get MAYBE 2 HP more than a stock stroke crank. If you get the porting to match the +4mm, then you should be able to get up into the high 50's at least.
