batoutofshell
yea I would say lean on the needle also drop your clip one notch and she should wake up better.
cdwood37
it seems to only do it on the right side, i don't have the pingel valve so i think it is running out of fuel on that side, does that sound like it could be that, cause like i said it runs great for a few gears then bogs but if i let it idle and fill back up the bowls it will haul ass or if i don't have it wide open it will do just fine. cdwood37
what should they be at? and how do i measure them? do i go up or down with the needle to richen it up?
dajogejr
Towards the blunt end to lean, towards the tapered end to richen. I think the Kehin are 16mm, flipped upside down, from gasket SURFACE to top of float. Normally, I set my floats close by eye...turn it upside down, and the floats are a little above being flat... dajogejr
Believe it or not...it made those ponies on stock carbs and T5 pipes. Just picked it up Friday, yet to ride it really...just ripped down the road from DynoEdge...wow is all I can say. In my stockers I have 350 Main, DynoJet needles 4th clip, 32.5 pilots. These 4 mil cubs love a fat pilot... Before this motor, my bone stock motor was 330 mains, same needle, 25 pilots. I'm going to get 35PWKs soon...but, with my setup and that HP...I think I'm going to be happy for some time before I go bigger... Plus...I'm less than 1000Ft, too... Sorry...wish I could help
batoutofshell
what do you mean you don't have a pingal valve, there better be one on the bottom of your gas tank or?
