65983cobra
i had the 25s in there and it was also doing it.before i put in the 30s.i could let it idle for a few and the plugs would be wet with fuel.
batoutofshell
well to tell you the truth banshee's aren't made to idle for long 2 minutes and I go you are supposed to blip the throttle and warm it up not let it set there and idle. How did you set your idle after you installed the kit.

65983cobra
air screws 2.0 out.all this started after i put in the tors elim kit then i read on fmf web that they sudjest the 30s so i went with them and i cant say they made the condition wrost.but yes i still was rich with the 25s so ya i guess puting the 30s in dosnt make much sense.my buddy said that my reeds may be bad could that be true? dajogejr
Put the 25's back in, start with the screw .5 turns out. Warm it up... Turn the screws out 1/4 to 1/2 turn at a time, wait 20 seconds for it to take effect. Stop when you have the highest idle...they're set. Then, set the idle screws accordingly, if needed. FMFs like fatter pilots...but, 30 is too much. Try the 25s and see how it goes...if you end up with less than .5 turns out...then go bigger to 27.5. As you probably know, 21mm is the correct height on stock carbs. Edited May 15, 2006 by dajogejr
