Geoff Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 I just put new grips on a 00' shee I got a couple weeks back. I put Oury grips, $8.50 for the pair and there soft and grippy. I'm sure you can get them anywhere, I got mine thru a shop here in town...RS performance. Quote
Bansh88 Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 TAG T2s and TAG grips are the friggen best! the "soft/medium" Quote

My buddies have spiders...and I'm ready to buy some myself. You can pretty much ride w/o gloves they're so comfy. ProTapers with mounting kit, CR High bend. Edited May 12, 2006 by dajogejr Quote
Justintoxicated Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 I hated my tag grips I wore a hole in them in less than 1 season, by the 3rd trip they already needed to be replaced. I have have good luck with my renthals, but you also have to buy their grip glue. Not quite as comfy but I don't want to replace my grips every couple trips. Also Now that I have tried both I think waffle grip is overrated I don't like it. Quote
FASTOYS Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 Wes, might check into the Spider grips , they are our best seller and prolly the best feeling grips i have used! Quote
odaen Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 I agree with Jeff, the spider grips are the f'n bomb. Comfortable and plenty of grip, even when wet. Quote

BUt...you'd have to promise to package those grips well. If they got scratched in shipping, I'd be distraught... Quote

Even have a few friends with other brands running the Yamaha stuff now after riding my bike. Quote

odaen Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 yeah, those are the grips. I run Tag X5 bars, because they're the only ones I could find with the right bend and height to go with my LSR stem. Quote
