Water Bottle?

Recommended Posts

Anyone ever mount a water bottle to their banshee. I want to be able to carry drinking water and i hate the camel back that i have. Has anyone adapted a mountain bike cage or found something else that will secure a bottle enogh so it won't fall off during hard trail riding? I thought that rmatv used to sell a kit that mounted to the handlebars but i haven't been able to find anything.

Yeah...not going to happen. And if it does, you won't like the piss warm water in that bottle from getting heated all up.

Your best bet is search for a 6 pack rack for your shee...and get a small cooler.

Or ride out front so you don't eat as much dirt...:)

you really need a cooler, because things really heat up without insulation. i had a gallon water jug on the back of my shee and it was half way filled with ice, the other half water. after a few hours it was all hot.

im thinkin about makin a front bumper/rack to hold a 6 pack cooler or a gallon of water so it wont get so hot.

I had one and it worked great, did rub the paint off my handlebars though. I'd just toss it in the cooler before the ride, but it does get warm if you are out in the sun for a long time.

I had the old Maier one I believe, it kinda molded around the bars and attached with velcro or straps or something. I don't use it anymore though, I like the camalback better. Stays cooler longer and I can throw some plugs in there as well.
