Satsol67
Not that i seen. They looked good. They only other thing i can think of is the rings. I dont thave the extra cash this week for the compression gauge. On a different note. I am looking at the OEM manual I found on the internet trying to see how to adjust the chain but the pictures are to dark. Course I dont think it is a stock axle. I see one side were it slides but for the life of me i cant see how to adjust it. BTW if anyone wants this manual for free download you can find it at. http://www.sandwizards.com/Main.htm Under Tips and Tricks. With all the Shee owners I dont see why the other one isnt scanned to CD for everyone to be able to download. For all the $$$ we spend on these we should be able to get the book for free.. hahaha
Satsol67
I was told this has an extended swing arm. How can I tell if it is and how long it is?
Satsol67
I think thats were my problem is. It isnt a stock swing arm so the manual isnt much help. Now the question is what kind is it? ugh!
fastbanshee8
It's possible that your carbs are too lean on the pilot circuit, and someone already mentioned cleaning the pilot jets, but your air mixture screws could be turned out too far, also. Satsol67
I bought a compression guage today and all looks fine there. It's 110 and 115. As for the pilot jet I pulled the carb with the choke off the other day to see if the bowels were switched and before i put it back on i blew it out with some cleaner. I am really begining to think that the choke just isnt working. Would it be the choke lever? Should I take it out ? What I have been doing is starting it with some carb cleaner when its cold. batoutofshell
is there a choke tube between the carbs connecting them together on the opposite side of the choke pull

Satsol67
ya its there. The choke is doing something cause if i pull it while its running it shuts the motor off.
BKOLFO4
Man I am right there with you. Been using starting fuild to start mine since I got it. Runs great once it is started and warmed up. Going to pull carbs off tonight for another cleaning and to move the needle position. I am thinking I have something going on with the floats, as while I am trying to start mine, there is gas dripping from the overflow tube. I have also removed plugs after a few kicks, and they look like they have been dipped in gas. . . If this does not fix it, I am going to buy the tools/hardware to do a leak down test. lildeezul
also if you cant start it in the cold, one way to fix that is to run more richer, move you needle position up or get a bigger jet
Satsol67
Dude DONT use starting fluid thats one good way to kill a crank use cab cleaner.
BKOLFO4
Mine is fixed. When I started to disassemble last night, I look down and the choke tube had come lose. put it back on, put the air cleaner back on, and it fired on the second kick. Went out this morning before work and it fired again on the second kick. I was using VERY VERY small amounts of starting fluid. I am talking 1/2 second burst from the can. The way I see it, starting fuild, carb cleaner, anything like that can not be good, since it has no lube in it. . . . Good luck. Check that choke tube and make sure there are no cracks or anything in it. Brian Edited May 10, 2006 by BKOLFO4
Satsol67
Good deal man! I am going to check mine today if i have time. As for the starting fluid its not so much no lub it the force it creates in the cylinder. It can break a piston, or rod, or crank. Good job getting yours fixed. I hope that is what mine is.
