fsubanshee Posted May 4, 2006 Report Share Posted May 4, 2006 OK i've had this banshee since i was a poor college kid. Now that i've been working and making a good living i can afford to upgrade. My question is which do i do first, i can afford to do it all at once but i would prefer do do it in increments so as to lessen the financial blow to my bank account. My '01 is completly stock I ride the dunes about 10 times a year and hit the trails the rest of the time so i want a good all around quad. Here is my list of future mods, which do i do first? I'm gonna catch hell for recommending cpis for a good all around bike. Reason is, I had fattys on my bike and they are supposed to be a pretty good all around pipe. When I changed to the cpis, they gave me more power everyfreakinwhere. Maybe my bike is pipe racist and just didnt like fmfs. I dont know. I was torn between buyin pipes and upgrading the suspension first Any good recomendations for an oversized alum radiator. odaen Posted May 4, 2006 Report Share Posted May 4, 2006 I'd get the T5's. They will work much better on a stock motor and will respond well to porting later down the road as well. Get the pipes and air filter first, and if you are going to run the air box, get a Pro-Design plate for the air filter. The stock set up, will only cause you lots of grief. Ducman Posted May 4, 2006 Report Share Posted May 4, 2006 If your just going to pick one mod to do first, then I'll throw in another vote for CPI's with sparkies. If you like to ride doons then you'll like a high reving pipe. DMC's are good trail/mx pipes but are not a high reving pipe. I would do the airbox adapter plate and clamp on filter mod soon too.
