yfz front shocks

i can get a set af barley used yfz front shocks for $300 (canadian) i was wondering if its worth it to buy them or should i spend the extra ( a lot extra) and get elka or something? also do the yfz shocks bolt right on or is there modifications that have to be made? thx for the input.

Do a search, 300. is a little high but not over priced either.

I have the YFZ 450 shocks and love them. Payed 250.00 on e-bay and they perform as well as a friends Works duel rates. You just have to take the time to adjust them. I just switched to +2 +1 a-arms and they work even better than befor.

badass. cause i got a brand spankin new set today. for free.

 

do you know if anyway makes trick valve components for them? or do you just get new oil and anitrogen and call it good?

Get ahold of Shane.. he does some upgrades to them.. dual rate springs etc.. his number is in Squish's sig a few posts up

badass. im not in the market for it right now. i havent even ridden on them yet, so i wanna see how that goes.
