blueshee03
where do you run quarter mile snowprophet?
snowprophet1
I go to a drag strip not far from my place in Wattsburg, Pa. called "Lucky's" or "Lowville drag raceway". Same owner as always, I just can't remember the exact wording. After I make a change in porting or carbs or anything, I'd take it up there on a Sunday afternoon. After the regular race program is done, they have "grudge runs" where kids whoop on their parent's cars and everyone races for $2 a run. Not many people around my area do much w/4 wheelers, so when I pull up to the line everyone watches because they don't expect a wheeler to be all that fast. juddthedstud
What would a stock banshee do in the 1/4?
Whitey
The bike just ran a 13.0@92mph running out of gear at the end of the track. we tried stock tires but they spun through 5th so the times we run on razr's. We gained a tenth in the 60' to a 1.8 by lowering the front.
speedfreak350
the motor in my bike ran a 7.70 1/8. Its a ported 350 on alky stock frame with a plus 10 and shitty tires. i think it was like a 1.60 60 ft. and thats with a 2-5 override with no 6th gear. badcompany
I have only made one 1/4 mile pass since the last time the banshee came out of the shop. The time was a 12.27 at 95 mph. gas 350, stock frame, stock tranny, inframes, +4 swingarm with no bar and no slicks. 17/39 gearing, which was a little too much for my little motor. It went 7.38 at 87 mph that pass in 5th gear.
