scotts96fast
I just used this tool and for the idle it worked awsome! As for the opening of the slides that's a different story.I did that by eye...keeping the throttle lock above idle on a 2 stroke....I had problems
FASTOYS
Scott, give me a call if you have questions. For all those who asked about carb sync tools : THEY ARE NOW IN !!!!!!!
Animalman294
Does this sync tool only work for idle adjustment or can you lock the throttle in a position (half throttle) and measure that too? I thought that if it was sync'ed at idle that it would be all through the slide movement, but then again at idle the slides are at rest and one throttle cable may be just a hair off from the other. But then if you adjust it for half throttle then wont it throw off the idle setting that you just adjusted the carb for? Am I just over-analizing this, or is it just for idle slide position? Stop the madness...................
FASTOYS
No , first thing you do is make sure (bike off) that it is getting full throttle. Then you fire it up and let it idle and set that with the sync tool by turning idle screws. Then you hold the rpm steady up a bit and go from carb to carb with the sync tool and adjust the carb adjusters on top of the caps so that both carbs are pulling exactly the same. Simple as that. It is used to sync the idle , then the throttle pull , so they are both on the knats azz! Works like a champ! I had so many pms about them and cant remember who all wanted them so let me know if your interested as they are now in stock.

fastbanshee8
I got one a few months ago, from Jeff. It takes all the guess work out of carb synching, and it doesn't take much time either. Great product.
