hotrodbanshee
Are there premix oils out there that run cleaner than others? I get a lot of carbon buildup on my exhaust pipes. Also my plugs get pretty black. i am running castor 927. I know my jetting is not rich. I have one bottle left and was thinking about switching to something else. Are there any other oils that will burn cleaner?

Wicked98Shee
the cleanest motor ive ever took apart ran honda hp2 @ 40:1 ... i run klotz in my shee's but, castor927, golden spectro, belray,amsoil,klotz,hp2 are all exellent premix. change ur plugs and go chop it... see where ur at cause if theyre burnin' black chance's are ur fat. i've jetted a bunch of bikes runnin 927 and they burn fine, a nice perdy tan color. cdwood37
The thing with castor oil is that it is made from the castor bean and is not petroleum based, it will lube a motor better but it will also gum them up much faster. Castor oils are used primarily on motors that are torn down every 40 or so hours, or race engines. just my two cents i ran motul 800 for three years and now run bel-ray. fastbanshee8
You will get more carbon build up, from castor based oils. It's just the nature of the beast.
