Finkeracer
While I've got my motor out of my Banshee I bolted on a set of 1.5inch durablue wheel spacers. I'm running +2,+1 A-arms with itp rims. Did I just waste my money? What are the side effects going to be? The quad is used my desert racing and a little moto-x. Thanks
Wallrat
You're going to be increasing the leverage on your suspension so it'll make it softer i.e. you're valving needs to be adjusted. Also you're putting more stress on the front end, which if you're using heavy duty arms n' stuff shouldn't be a problem but you still wouldn't see me jumping with wheel spacers on. So yes, you wasted your money IMO.
racer
unless you put them on the rear to compensate for the wider front end?
Shane
You are also putting an incredible amount of pressure on the front wheel bearings and the front end is going to push heavily when turning. Shane
Finkeracer
Right,,,thanks for that. I guess I'll have to see what happens. What about bump steer. I'm still not sure how the spacers can effect bump steer. Wouldn't it just be like running wider tyres, as far as geometry goes?
