Dinner
Hey, when i took my head off to paint it, i noticed that there is a whole in one of the domes, its about the size of the tip of a pen. Should i get a new head
sheefreak
Is it an actual hole, or like a divot from debree?
DIRTMAN350
I would replace the head. There are several aftermarket companies out there that can help you out. I would drop a pm to dlnoss and he can help you out. I wouldn't chance using that head over again.
Dinner
Is it an actual hole, or like a divot from debree? 496690[/snapback] i can't see right through the head, so it could be from debree, i think ill get a new head though anyways

While you have your head off better check ring clearence and see if there are any scratches in the cylinder walls. If you had debree floating around it is always good to check. Dinner
Yea its suppose to be warm this week so i think ill take at a look at it, i'm thinking its been there before i had hte new top end put in it cause it was pretty beat before Sorry for this dumb question, but what does NOSS stand for, something about new but stock isnt it And if im getting a new head, just wondering if i should get different size domes Stock Carbs, bored 65.5(364cc), DG pipes(stock silencers), Boost Bottle, 280 main, 25 pilots Thanks Dinner
biggun6ss
Don't know what it stands for. If you get small domes like 17cc it will up your compression and you might have to run race gas. I got the Noss head with some 20cc domes. At my elevation I am around 130 psi so I dont need race gas.

dlnoss
Noss is my last name. I would have tried to think of a better name for the company but when I began, I wasn't doing end-customer work. -David
23champ
I think it sounds pretty cool, especially for performance parts! looks to me like you lucked out on having the last name Noss.
