jbooker82
I am new to banshees. I have a raptor and did all the jetting on it my self. I just bought a used banshee. It is already jetted for the mods that it has now. I need to switch the silencers from the FMF SST Power Core 2 to the FMF SST Turbine Core 2, because the trails that I ride on require a spark arrestor. Do you think I will need to rejet? Here is the current motor mods FMF SST Pipes with Power Core 2 Silencers 20cc domes Delta Force 2 Reeds MX porting with .020 over pistons PJ 34mm Carbs Pro Designe K&N with no air box lid Timing set at +3.5 deg Altitude 2000 to 2500 feet above sea level It runs great how it is now, the only thing I will be changing is the silencers. Do you think i will need to rejet? What would you guess the jetting would be for these mods? I don't have any idea because I just got the machine 2 days ago. I really apprecate your guys help. Looking forward to learning how these banshees work, and giving info back to others. josh
Ducman
I'm going to say that no jetting changes are going to be required going from power core to turbine core silencers. If anything the turbine core silencers might be just slightly more restrictive so you may run slightly richer once you switch to them, but I doubt you will even notice.
