sand4ever
Hey just an FYI. The guy who owned alloy boltz passed away and from what the ebay store says will no longer be ran. I went to his web page and there are only a few kits left. So if anybody wants one they better hurry up. I have a complete kit on my bike and it looks great. I would highly recommend one for your bike, but hurry.

WALLACE84
That guy passed away? damn.. I just bought a kit from him not to long ago and I love it!!!
Justintoxicated
That sucks, I think I'm going to get this kit though. Is the polished kit really worth teh extra $$? Or Would I be better off with the regular kit + the extra bolts Engine and footpegs. There was another guy fromt his forum who gave me his information and said I could order a kit and he could subtract the cost of some allen head bolts I alreay had, but I lost his information when I threw 1/2 the crap in my room out... Does anyone know of a place that sells the upper A-arm bolts? I boughtanother set of stock ones but really don't want to use them because I know they will likely freeze up int he sleeve like my old ones did eventualy. And that made taking off the stock A-arms a very painful process. I was ready to just cut the arms in 1/

Justintoxicated
Russ died? That's pretty sad, wonder what happened cause he was not that old. 511769[/snapback] Guess so, it is sad I just read this post now as well, he is not the one from this forum that was selling bolt kits was he? They are sold out of the Foot Peg kit and Lower motor mount kits Edited May 4, 2006 by Justintoxicated
sand4ever
If you go to his ebay store, there is a link to his obituary. i think if I remember right he was like 57 yrs old. It is really too bad, his products were awesome. But there is an ebay guy named fastenall that sells stainless bolt kits. I don't know how good they are,but its something to check out I guess.l
Justintoxicated
I tried to order from Alloy Boltz as it shows they still have some kits in stock but when it says payment method there are no options listed so I guess they are compleatly closed. Guess I will have to get the ebay kit then I hope it is not a POS..
Big Blue
I bought this kit and I thought it was excellent, everything is labeled in individual packages and looks great. I will eventually buy another just because it is nice to have the spares, and I didnt even use all the ones supplied. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/YAMAHA-BANS...1QQcmdZViewItem

Do you know what grade the bolts are? Do you know where I can get some footpeg bolts / Upper A-arm Bolts / and screws for the plastics in stainless?
