1000dollabill Posted March 29, 2006 Report Share Posted March 29, 2006 first USE THE RIGHT SIZE PHILLIPS easiest way cordless impact driver, next best way.... hand impact with philips bit. if you're in a hurry, use a large philips head, put a set of vise grips on it, one GOOD whack with a hammer. try to turn. if it doesn't turn don't strip it. keep whacking it (the screw driver) and turning respectively. worse comes to worst, get the ones you can and drill the heads off the remaining. remove said cover, remove remaing screws with vice grips, and go about you're business. do yourself a favor and replace them with stainless allen heads.
