Dinner
Hey, after i put my banshee all back together, i was changing sprockets and shortening my chain, i took off the white chain support (stock swingarm), and i was just wondering if its alright to run it without it Thanks, Dinner Edited March 23, 2006 by Dinner
87_shee
I have don't have one and ive never had a problem
woodro77
if your talking about the rear chain guide, i would keep it on, it guides the chain onto the sprocket ,ever see what a chain that jumps off the sprocket does to you engine case, they are like 12 bucks new. if your talking about the front it stops the chain from rubbing on the swing arm i dont see why you wouldnt want run them
Dinner
Yea the chain guide at the back...I forgot to put it back on, i shortened my chain to fit my gearing better, will the guide tighten it at all
Bansh88
run it if you can. It'll help your chain stay on if you get into something weird. But you can live without it. Don't let your chain get too much slack

MILO
i'd keep it on. i'm sure you'll see shorter chain and sprocket life without it.
