Banshee0028
I FINALLY GOT THE BITTCCHHH OFFF!!!! Here is what it took: Try spraying it with PB Blaster. That is the best out there, WD40m, liquid wrench, and all that other stuff doesn't work for me. Spray it and let it sit for a while. 490225 I sprayed it, let it sit for a while, tried the impact, no luck... You need to use a little heat. I would use one of those mini micro torches. Heat the nut up just a tad, going in circles over it for about 10 seconds then try zipping it off with the impact. Once you get it off, put some anti-sieze on the threads when you torque the nut back on. 490235 I used a standard propane torch and let it sit there for 10-20 seconds, then quickly hit it with the impact, no luck... Load it up and bring you socket down to your local tire shop. They will surely have a good high powered impact gun that will get the nut loose. 490025 I had a friend bring over a 500lb torque air impact, with a portable tank filled to 120psi....Hooked up the impact to the bolt, and it sat there again, bogged down, did not move. Then the air of course dropped down to 80ps in the tank...So then I bring it to his house: Hooked it up to the main compressor, AND THE BIITCH CAME FLYING OFFF Lesson Learned: Have the right tools!!!!!! I think the impact I bought is still pretty decent, just this bolt probably did not have any anti-sieze on it, and was prob put on with an impact when the previous owner put in the hot rod crank.... Once off, I put on the flywheel remover tool, and it was tight getting off. So I quickly hit that with my electric impact, and it came flying off as well.....This is when I decided to keep the impact after all. I am sure I can use it on almost anything else with the shee. I swear I've never seen anyone have this much trouble, or receive this much help over one damn nut! 490251 Sometimes it's just hard to get your nut off!!! 490252

Justintoxicated
Glad to hear you got that SOB off. Torque Spec is 59ft-lbs when you put it back on. Matt, I have those same china impacts, they do fit on the flywheel I guess.. However they are POS's I tried to take off a nut for the rim on my truck and split 2 of them in 1/2, i took them back to china freight the same day and they replaced them but they told me it was because I did not use it with an impact. I told them I tried the impact but it was a POS and could not losen the nut on the truck... Not sure why they told me you have to use them with an impact! I didn't even srip that part out the sidewall just cracked in 2 Second set has not broken on my yet though. I was suprised when I just tore the socket in 2 pieces and almost hit my head on the concreat.
