My she came with t6 pipes. I will be getting some porting and other engine work so if you are looking to buy some t6 pipes, let me know. I will buy some t5s no matter what so i will sell my t6's.

I cant comment on the power change because like i said, my shee came with them installed.

my buddy has the old toomey t3's and he swears by them!!he has an 87 banshee with front j-arms.he claims that the t3' were designed in a specific way to clear the j-arms and the front fenders, since yamaha switched to front a-arms,toomey redesigned the piped.if you see the t3's compared to a set of t5's or t6's,there night and day diffrence, needless to say,his bike rips with those old pipes!!i saw a set on ebay that fetched 475.00!!!and there not even chromed!!!!

One of my riding partners has an 06 with the T6's. He has a cool head with 160 lbs kicking compression, K&N with some billet intake and a aftermarket CDI. His bike runs really good for no porting. For bolt ons only the T6 is the way to go. For duning with porting get the T5 or CPI's or my favorite the Shearers. Shearers are more of a peaky pipe and needs to ridden in the higher rpms. But its a banshee. Let her scream. I think the old toomeys were the best back then but I dont think they can keep up with the CPI or shearers.
