TheBansheeMan86
...sniff, sniff.....do you smell that? 487131 smell what? anyway, no its actually a woman that runs the place. she does extremely nice work, and she does business under the table (no tax! woot). she didnt seem hurting for cash, it was as if her workers did all the commercial work, and she just liked doing the custom stuff like that for fun. hey, i wont complain, the work was top notch and i got it for cheap. when i get new a-arms/swingarm etc i'll get it all done there too along with my mountain bike frame. dadudeinbiloxi
Wow you did get a steal.Blasting takes a good hour which anyplace usually charges 70 bucks just to blast..The powdercoat is easily 60-75 bucks. That guy must have been hurting for cash 487106 Actually I don't know about the hurting for cash part. I actually found a local powder coater on the coast here that have done bikes etc before so i asked them how much for just my frame he goes swingarm? no, just frame. i told him i wanted candy blue with a clearcoat and i asked if that with sandblasted too and he told me like $150 i was like ummm but I haven't seen there work in person but the guy even offered me to come in and check out stuff. btw the stuff looks real nice. nutcase
Thanks for the compliment.I could drop the price down a bit.Around here you can't get anything powdercoated for under 400.I though 3 was a good price.

MYquadsFaster
sounds about rigt to me..im from michigan and i had my powdercoating done through some guy at my dads work that was starting a powdercoat business.. i ended up paying almost 1300 to have my frame, swingarm, a arms, hubs, dust covers, shifter, brake lever, pegs, cylinders, clutch cover, tie rods, swingarm carrier, sprocket, bumper and brake disk all sand blasted and PC basic black and red... he said the preperation was a bitch with all the threads he had to plug or tape off on the frame and he had to send the frame out to get sand blasted because his blaster couldnt fit it in there. cant wait to see some more pics
