motoboy17us2007
I bought it and it only runs on the right cylinder its gettin spark and gas (I think) but I think the reeds are bad (thats wat i was told be the previious owner) can they just "lock up"
Hilarious
Congrats on ur purchase. Get in there and check those reeds man, and tell us what you found. If you've got spark and fuel, the only thing left is compression. Might wanna check that out. Spark plugs and the choke cross over tube between your carbs. daryn c
also if youve ran it with just one piston you might have a load of carbon build up on the one thats not firing..

NotsafeFWD
Well I know reeds can break and get gummed up. On our older Yamaha sled, we had a friend of the family take a look at it and the reeds were all boogered up. He clean them, addressed a few other problems and things cleared right up. banshee tuner
Those reeds are probably stuck open.

dawarriorman
all the gas and oil thats not getting burned 485024[/snapback] You do realize what you are saying right? That gas and oil is magically turning into carbon without burning. If its not burning, its still gas and oil.
