cdcoxwell
The best advice I have ever received on here was "Go get your shee from the dealership and then BUY A CLYMER repair manual and there is nothing that can't be fixed on this website . I found why I had no spark w/in 30 min. Your local dealership will test your coil for you free of charge. You will need to go dn the list one by one eliminating each electrical sources. Mine was the stator. The clymer will go over step by step procedures on trying to find out why there is no spark. Such as, coil, key switch, on/off switch and last but not least the STATOR. I may have left out something. It was the best $25 I have spent today because it has saved me more money by doing the repairs my self. Now I'm able to turn around and spend that money on my shee. cdc
Wallrat
9x outta 10 sudden stalls and loss of spark are caused by a loose wire. Get a wire brush and go through every connection pulling em apart, giving em a couple passes w/ the wire brush, and then put em back together. If that doesn't do it, try to find another banshee owner that'll let you swap out parts until you find the culprit.
stockridinshee
i dont know if this would change anything but my head lights just stoped working like 5 rides before no spark and went over the wiring and tried new head lights and nothing so maybe athe stator or should i try somthing else? cdcoxwell
when the stator goes, all the electrical parts will not work. I will look in clymer to see what they suggest.
Wallrat
Sounds like a stator issue then. Lights and ignition are on 2 seperate circuits so the only place they even interact is at the pickup coil.
