watkins
Dont know if this is old news for you all or not (didnt see it posted). But here are the details from a death at Glamis on Friday morning. By reading through all the posts it sounds like it was someone from the East Coast Group (Pad 2 with the Semi Trucks). Someone got a life flight out today near us (Pad 3) but I didnt hear about this until I got home. Here are the details: http://www.glamisdunes.com/invision/index....showtopic=68434

banshee370
can anyone verify if this is JT's group? I pray to god that everyone is ok and comes home safe. It makes me sick to think that someone in our family may not make it home... God speed and god bless!

Indubitably
The person was in the east coast camp with JKJK and JT. At this point I don't have all the facts so what little I know won't be posted here.

RATBIKE0130
Indubitably has the most info about what happened but we'll have to wait until the NY group gets home to get the real details. I know I heard the story from a couple of the guys but like Pete I will hold back info until someone with first hand knowledge can tell the story. We noticed someone else being life flighted out on Sunday around 2pm... the dunes have claimed too many already and we still have the second half of the season to go. Justintoxicated
When I talked to the HQ guys out there, Banchetta and JKJK, heard he was on the trip last year as well, so it was not his first time to the dunes or anything like that. Really leaves a lasting sadness for those who were camped with them, and especially for those who knew him I am sure. I was not camped with the east coast guys so I will let them provide any more details if they choose to do so. My Condolences.... BTW there was more ligt out at the dunes at 1:45 than earlier in the night before the moon comes up...
