I got a message from Joe Krikorian at Glamis. It was a guy from Jersey/New York area that was with them. It was NOT Joe or John Krikorian (JKJK) i am very glad to hear that but still very sad about the loss of a fellow rider/friend. They said they will give out more details later prolly cause of the family situtation. Our Prayers go out to the families and friends involved ! Be careful out there guys and gals , life IS precious and we are not always as invincible as we may feel !!

Kind of bittersweet. Glad it wasn't either of those 2, but still its a sad thing when its a buddy of someone you know. Hell, its sad when its a fellow duner.

You're spot on about life. One minute its here, the next it might just be gone.

The life flight that I saw was for a sand rail accident. One confirmed fatality and 3 others that had to be extracted. The rail was reported to be driving very fast and hit a kiddy track.

Just got back from Glamis :D I saw a Person getting air lifted North of Olds on Saturday  It was really creepy to see a Marine medical chopper take him away, I didn't get any info on this person... I feel very sad to run across this at the Dunes, and it's even worse when they don't live to dune any more...

My heart goes out to the family and friend's that lost or have injured members from this weekend...

Later,

Olie

First off my condolences to the friends and family of the deceased.

That sucks to hear regardless of age.

Those kiddie tracks bite. My girlfriend is recovering from a fractured wrist because of one of those. She went over the bars of my SHEE i can still see it in slow motion in my mind.

I didn't know she was that limber!
