knight_ripper
Im sure this is not the first time you have heard of this company.... precision racing products Hey My Banshee Brotherz, U HAVE READ THE off-road.com. I need your help. At the same time we can help eachother. I have been talking to George Athanasiou, a sales/rep with precision racing products. They dont currently make a mount for the banshee, and we need one. Basically we are looking at the BEST stabalizer on the market. All the majors are using it. Obviously we are missing something! So what we need is 5 VERY interested riders to get this going. I AM 1. Heck, why stop at 5. Lets make these guys work. Lets order one for everyone. LOL. It may sound at this point like I work for the company. I wish I did. I would actually enjoy my job. Heck, working in any part of the ATV industry would be killer. Anyway check out this impact video... Ok...so...lets do this... Here is his email to me. Jason, Thanks for the email. We haven't had enough riders who wanted us to build a unit for the Banshee yet. We need to get at least 5 very interested riders before we will proceed with designing the mounting hardware. Best Regards George Athanasiou Precision Racing Products 209-365-1850 Fax 209-365-1692 george@precision-rp.com www.precisionracingproducts.com Like I said, I am 1. Now we need 4 more. ALL models are 485.00. Lets do this. Edited February 9, 2006 by knight_ripper
knight_ripper
How should we do this. We could all bombard the company with orders! knight_ripper
I cant believe Im the only one out there bustin hands and wrists on my shee. Between Razorbacks, stumps, and trees....isnt that reason enough? Or hell...if its not worth it should I just go with a Scotts? Or a simple Dentons, or even a Janssen stabilizer. The Janseen's are a dual stabilizer. Isnt there anyone out there that wants the best Stabilizer as well? SHOW ME THE MONEY! Or tell me its not worth it. I think it is....cuz you get what you pay for! brilei5
Those are verry cool. However I like ALOT of guys on here have been riding a LONG time, SO I already have an Adjustable DENTON. Kind of hard to part with 5 bills when I already own one that works. I hope 5 guys get toghether and get this done because the Precision Damper is the SHIT. And when mine pukes It would be nice if its available. By the way you should talk price with your contact because my buddy got his on one of the GROUP BUYS that a guy on YFZ central puts together. I Beleive 10 guys bought them and saved around 50 bucks each. Same guy also had a deal with HIPER WHEELS we got complete sets front and rear for 650.00. Best of luck. Old Two-Smoke
I have had Scotts on four different quads and one bike they work great for me. What would be the advantage to change?
knight_ripper
I dont want users to change their dampners. I want people that are in the market to buy dampners to speak up. I want to get the best on my shee...and so far im hitting walls. OLD 2 SMOKE-----You say you have Scotts on 4 shee's. Are they all stock stems with stock clamps? or are any of them aftermarket anti-vibe's with fat bar clamps? thanks for the info. knight_ripper
I just talked to Scotts. they say their stablilzers only work with stock stems and clamps. Has anyone tried differently? I have a Janssen anti-vibe +1+1. can anyone say that the Scotts will work? Otherwise...what other choices do I have? Denton looks like. fukin sux. Old Two-Smoke
Only 3 of them were Shee's only one had fat bars. On the last one I had before I bought the 05, we machined out our own mount for fitting over fat bars. I also welded on a longer mounting tube for the brass plug to go into. I wish now I would have swaped that setup for the one on the 05 before I sold it. These factory bars are, well factory bars.
knight_ripper
yup...factory bars..... I have a call into Janssen as I type. GPR stabilizer might work. They only work with 100MM antivibe's tho. fingers crossed.
