JTQuad
The only way to get them for any 2wd anymore is ebay or someone fabbing them. I tried all over the place over this summer and to no avail. Everyone stopped making them because they kept breaking from what im told. I have seen tehm on ebay thoufh - JT
PUSH THE THROTTLE
You might just consider fabbing up some skiis and running some paddles.
macgillivary
ya i could fab up skis no problem i have an old old yamaha enticer 340, and i have a coupel sets of skis for it id rather have the tracks though, deep snow up here in Canada and since i have a quad there is no way ill be allowed to get a trail pass to go with the sleds so ill be using my own trails which will be mostly powder, i doubt the paddles will stay up on the powder but i never tryed paddles in snow do they work good in deep stuff? PUSH THE THROTTLE
The only problems I've ever had with the paddles were keeping the front end above the snow. I don't have a set of skiis for mine but I'd like to try it sometime. Others on here have run ski paddle setups, I think JTQuad and Boonman have. They'd have more insight than I do. PUSH THE THROTTLE
I run the GBC paddlemasters. Do a search under the product reviews for a picture. They are made for mud and snow.
JTQuad
AD BOIVIN does not make tracks for any 2wd machine. Although they show a listing, they discontinued them in early 05 and do not even make parts to piece on together. I have tried all roads trust me you have to fab them. But, i do have skiis and paddle son my shee and they work awesome. You can stop in a good 12- 14" and take right back off again - JT Edited February 7, 2006 by JTQuad

I really need to locate me some skiis and get them made for next year. With my Swinger being busted I missed all the good snow this year. brilei5
Hey JTQuad, That is pretty cool. How did you make the mounts for the skis? Are they just modified banshee spindles with a post welded on or something else?
JTQuad
I bought these off boonman a few years back they appear to be spindles with the post welded as you thought. Later - JT

macgillivary
ya that looks sweet so they are bombardiar skis with the posts and modified banshee spindles? or snowmobile spindles too? i went in to my dealer where my buddy works, started chatting it up to him about this project, anyways he suggested that i get the spindles off a ski doo mxz or a gsx, the a-arm models and just bolt it up to my a arms, sounds almost to perfect time for ebay what do you guys think of that plan?
