rebelbanshee2
800cc is the displacment limit for an ATV, after that it is considered and OHV and registration and places where you can ride are different. But that really only matters if you ride on government land. I think two strokes will be the next four stroke. Direct injection looks very prommising. The Ski-doo sleds with it are running as clean as the 4 strokes. In the next decade I wouldnt be suprised to see a return to more high tech 2 strokes. On another note man not to ruin your post who would want such a big engine to put around on. Yeah I mean maybe Duners but you have to look at the other half....On clean engines the Rotak SDI's burn just as clean as a 4 stroke. Ls7colorado
as for the Evinrude E-tec engine, i have on on my boat, It get better fuel economy than my budys setup witch is pretty much the same boat but he has a 200HP 4stroke, EFI motor. The Etec I have is a 225 H.O., they are Direct injection, 2 stroke eninges. I cannot belive how clean this thing runs, no smoke no oil draining out the exaust, and LOTS of power. If you made a banshee Direct injection that would be bad ASS!!

Multi cylinders are a different story but they will never fit into a quad frame and still be light and nimble!!
