My riding buddy has a piped & filtered YFZ. I used to pull him pretty bad with stock carbs. Ive just recently switched to Trinitys CV single 35mm kit and now he's walking on me in 5th gear at the sand drags. :flush:

im got to argue on this one. IF ur running the Alba 400 Stroker kit with it, u can beat a piped YFZ (and one that has the cam advance or w/e it is) i pulled it off on my buddy's 03 that i build about a yr ago in grass and on( i believe) about 200 yrds or so strip. but like i said if ur not using the 350 crank. dont mean to piss on anyone's feet, im just saying what ive done and seen

I agree that for troublel free trail riding the single is the way to go but

when i bought my bike it had twin 34m's,T5's, Dina Fs, V Force, and it was fast but it seemed that when i put the single 35 it seemed to have much more power, i did'nt have much time to try and tune the two carbs, because i bought the single carb almost right away.

I still have the two 34's. Would it be worth trying to tune those carbs and try them?

That 15% topend power gain over stock trinity claims is crap, but the 20% gain in the bottom and mid is no joke. Like Ken said, a single 35mm makes for a great play setup, but youre gonna be in the back when drag racing anything longer than a 100 yards.

I think it has alot to do with how you tune it. I have yet to be beat buy a yfz or trx 450 before I was ported. I raced a 480r, and spanked him from holeshot to the end.he was the closest race I've had with any of the 450's

If your selling your single,a buddy of mine is looking.

I think the 34's will be to big if your not ported.

I see in your sig you have a 38mm. What is the difference over the 35mm? I thought about going that route but im still trying a few things with this 35mm that came with the kit. Does that 38 fit in the intake boot from the 35?

Im not looking to sell it, but i'll let you know if i change my mind.

Have any of you ever tried the 2into1 on a stroker big bore? I am thinking of trying one on my 7Mil stroker to see if it will help the low end some more and also tame down the top end. I do mostly MX and dune trail riding so top end is not my ultimate goal. Plus I will keep my dual 35MM A/S carbs for using when i want to run better top end power.

Wallrat is using a single on his stroker.

yes it fit the boot, didn't lose anything noticable on bottom, seemed to gain through the middle and top. this is only verified by seat of the pants dyno. I did gain a couple mph on top, so i must of got some power there. that was checked with my gps.
