blueshee03
i was told the cost to get in quadfest this year will $50.00 wether you are goin to be there all three days or just one day.as for hotels ,the site is located approximately 20 miles from bedfoord, somerset and johnstown pa.all three have some very good hotels and bars of course.you dont have to go that far for bars though there is the indian lake lodge about 2 miles from the site and there is around 5 or more within 10 miles from the site.some of these are smaller bars but not bad to have fun and drink beer and shoot pool.there is a small hotel about 3-4 miles from the site but i would reccomend calling them and making arrangments early if you want o get lodging there.also last year they allowed you to camp on the site all three days and i'm sure they will be doing that again this year.here are the links to quadfest and mountain ridge trails : mountain ridge trails quadfest 2006 i will try try to get more info about the admission cost and post what i find out.i think also that mobile dyno will be there again but i'll have to call and find out for sure. NECK
I just moved from that area about a year ago. There's also 2 ski resorts in Somerset, that are nice, but probably not busy or too expensive in July. Seven Springs Mountain Resort www.7springs.com and Hiden Valley Resort www.hiddenvalleyresort.com. I know Seven Springs has hotel rooms and the condos you can rent - a good idea if you got a bunch of people going in on it together. I know Hidden Valley got rooms, not sure about the chalets, skied there but never stayed. Seven Springs is cool, real nice bar, HUGE game room, pool, etc.
