icecold_shee
I have a 2000 shee, mods are t5s, v-force reeds, 20cc coolhead, stock gearing, k&n pods, stock porting, bout to upgrade to the trinity 2-1 intake, 35mm pwk, havent put it on yet. I do some dragging and mainly trailridin and hillshooting at LS oklahoma. Should i go with 20x10x10 8 paddle extremes or 20x10x10 10 paddles regular haulers. Im currently running sand skates, but want more bite. I can get the 10 paddle a lot cheaper, but dont want to get em if u think it would over paddle my bike, thanks for the advice? Malott 1
You might think about running a 21-12-8 tire maybe 8 or 9 paddle. Since you said you do some drag racing and hill shooting the 21 will help you out with that and still have fun on the trails. I don't know where you plan on getting them but you could probably call Jim at Jim's sandtoys and he could point you in the right direction. Bansh88
I don't care for em much, but The Sand Stars HOOK. They toss a serious roost.
rjvoight
With your mods, 20x10x10 8 paddles, maybe 9s but I would not go 10s. just my 2cents. There is a thread that talks more about on the Sand Forums page, Skat Track Haulers, bout 1/3rd down the page as of now. It explains the whys a little bit. biggun6ss
I used to use 20/10/10 9 paddle haulers and thought they were awesome. Then I got some 22/11/ something cant remember 8 paddle haulers and I will not ever go back to a 20. My top end with stock gearing is awesome. My buddy has a YFZ 450 with web cams, aftermarket exhaust, rev box, stroked and 21 inch tires. In a 300 ft race he takes me by about a quad, in a long race he takes me by two or three. I have toomey T6 pipes, timing plate, clamp on K&N's and a shaved head. Tires heigth can make a big difference in a race. shanYE west
The sand devil's are made by GBC I had a set on my raptor and they worked very well for the price. In my opinion skat-trak's are the best tire but if your on a budget and need somthing cheap the sand devil would be my next choice. I think there around 110 on rims from rockymountain atv
