Shee-Male
Use a high heat paint, they offer it a speedshops and hardware stores. You can also use BBQ, or wood stove paint. MAKE SURE THEY ARE CLEAN!!! and apply lots of light coats! not 1 or 2 heavy ones. Some companys like VHT offer colors and clear coat. You can put them in an oven to "bake it" but normal operating temp will do the trick. Have fun
DIRTMAN350
Instead of painting you can get them chromed. Just make sure you trust your chromer so that he doesn't mess up your pipes.
Shee-Male
I tried to have my FMF's chromed and not one single place would touch them unless they were new, said the contaminate their tanks. Ceramic coating is a good option instead of paint but more expensive.
1.6i
why not powder coat, it will be alot more durable than paint..
Dinner
When I painted my pipes(DG, sock silencers) i cleaned them up real good with a wire wheel, cleaned with rag, then put on about 4 coats of flat black, looks nice...And im thinking of ordering T5's unpainted(less money..lol) and was going to paint them as well, do you know what color you want to paint them? **BrAnDoN**
It all depends on what color you are planning on painting it. Like some-one said earlier, you should go with chroming them.

jbooker82
I did my DMC Alien on my raptor with Duplicolors 1200 deg silver paint. It is made for headers. It held up fairly well. When i went with the sparks exhaust I sent it to jet hot to be done. the jet hot coating has way more shine. Almost like chrome except it keeps the heat in the pipe instead of radiating out. Jet hot coats the inside and out side. It costs 145 to do my raptor's exhaust system. If your looking to do it your self. I would try these guy's stuff out. They sell some exhaust header coatings. I use there CBC1, and DFL on my banshee pistons and domes. Tech Line Coatings LINK
