jjfizzle51
cops are crazy they shoot people when ever the get the chance im sure if you shoot that kid with a bean bag gun he would be down for long enough to get the gun
dawarriorman
No screw that, the dumb bastard brought a gun to school. Im glad they did shoot him, and they had every right to. He had a gun, and pointed it at them. They couldn't know it was a pellet gun (most of them are made to look like a real firearm), so they shot. If he would have put it down, he would have been fine.Maybe now he'll learn something, and other stupid little shits will realize that taking a gun to school isn't smart. Then I will run into a school, use a hand gun to take some kids hostage in a closet. Then when you get there I will start running around in the school threatening kids and teachers. Now I want you to come in and get me. What you dont know is that I am wearing kevlar under my gangbanger baggy shirt. Shinguards, knee protection and mx style protective racing shorts under my pants that normally would fall off my ass. Also I have stashed my dad 308 at the end of one of the 100yd halls so that if I get far enough ahead of you I can take you out. And in the bathroom where I get shot, I will have switched to a mac 10 one of my older brothers buddies had picked up. When your bean bag round has no effect on me cause of the gear I am wearin and the adrenaline dump I have because I am going to kill a cop, Ill kill you . The cop did his job and he did it right. He found the potential shooter and eliminated the threat. Next time there is a school incident why dont you go after the kid and see if you can tell if he has a pellet gun/squirtgun/real gun. I hope for your sake it is a toy because otherwise, you and who knows how many other people will die. RJV

Cotton eyed Joe
What does it cost to house a prisoner these days at the federal level? $80k per year or something?? I have no idea. That SWAT member just saved the tax payers a ton of money.

dajogejr
Good for the SWAT team. A while back here in detroit, Police shot a mentally slow guy with a rake...all over the news. What the news failed to depict was there were 5 uniformed officers with their guns drawn. The man had a steel garden rake...not the big old plastic leaf kind, and he was holding it in the air, arms positioned shoulder width on the handle in a swinging motion. The public made a big deal because he was mentally slow. 1. 5 Officers in Uniform with a gun drawn to you. If this doesn't say "Stop, or we will shoot", nothing does. A Uniformed officer, let a lone 5, should tell you caution. 2. A STEEL garden rake could kill or seriously injure someone. I for one wouldn't want to get knocked upside the melon with one of them... 3. They did their job, they went home to their wifes and kids that night... It is true, police can abuse power...but so can politicians, executives, etc.... They are trained, if you feel your life and/or saftey of those you are protecting (public, family, etc) are in danger, do what you must to protect them and yourself. Bottom line is, sometimes common sense isn't so common....

Speedie
I've seen pictures of the gun and it looks very real. It was a Beretta and I've own several and I couldn't tell you the differance. Now put that in someone's hands and point it at you and give yourself .005 seconds to decide real or not, life or dealth and see how you decide. They gave him every chance to give up, he choose to point the gun at them. I think they handle it as well as it could of been. It's ashame a kid died over it, but when your an officer you have a fraction of a second to make a life or dealth decision, while the public has a forever to crititze it. In any case, he was a dumbshit.
