BrianEb
I was just wondering if anybody is running this set-up Toomey T-6 Pipes Toomey 2-IN-1 filter V3 Reeds Stock carbs Cool Head Right now I'm running 260 mains with the clip in the middle, V3 reeds and I believe the pilots are stock. I just put on a Vito's hemi head with 21cc domes and I also want to put on the Toomey 2-in-1 filter. I was just wondering if I will be safe with the 260 mains as they are now. I live in Michigan whch is about 1000ft. above sea level
PUSH THE THROTTLE
I don't have that setup but with aftermarket pipes, reeds, and filter I'd think you'd be bigger. Check the jetting FAQ http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html
ellison445
I would bump your main upto a 300 and rejet from there. Once you ditch that airbox it going to change your jetting ALOT!! I have almost the same setup and Im at 280 Toomey T-5 Pipes Toomey 2-IN-1 filter V2 Reeds Stock carbs Cool Head ( Noss head 20cc domes)
BrianEb
Thanks alot I'll try that I know that when I changed to V3 reeds I had to go from 280 down to 260 mains
gatoman28
I'm running the Toomey pipes myself, I was told to go up to a 320 main jet and 27.5 pilot jet. T6 stock carbs-mikuni KN Filters clamp on - one to each carb no cool head I still have to do my rejetting also.
Banchetta
You guys are either up there in elevation or just running lean.....start w/ 350 mains, needle 4th clip, stock pilots.
Hairfarmer
I'm running t5's stock head, with cut up air box at 1200 ft, about 40 degrees. I"m jetted at 310 main, 25 pilot and third clip on the needle. Runs nice for the temp. We were out this weekend Hair

sredish
I was going to say start at 320, I just have a hard time believing that the stock ports need more than that. 260 does sound lean.
