2.87 @ 116! I call BS. Not saying it's not possible. But we would have heard about it 5 minutes before it happened over on PS. Even at that it was not in competition at a sanctioned track, so therefore it would not be "the record".  And another thing to your story, the NHRA does not allow "chutes" on the blacktop on a quad, motorcycle, snowmobile, so what exactly was the issue?

Sorry one of the guys here at the shop spouted off without all the facts.

Avinal is a sanctioned track, but the times where not durring an event.

Second, the problem with the NHRA pass isnt a shute issue but a lic issue.

The track officail came over with the staging lane worker and one of the guys didnt know what type of vehicle it was and said anything over 150mph has to have a shute, then another guy said its in a bike catagory so a chute isnt the problem but a current nhra pro lic is.

2.87 in the 300ft would be the fastest bike in the world, not to mention beating out many of the lay down trikes that run in the 3.0 ranges and top fuel rails that run in the 2.5 ranges.. sorry but thats pushing the beleivablity range a bit without the time slips or something to show otherwise..i would expect to see it at the planetsand races this year beating out everyone with ease if thats the case..

besides that the fastest 4 wheeler banshee based bike ive seen ran in the 3.5 range..

Its not a banshee based bike, its a Fireball racing chassis with a turbo nitrous busa motor,

Alky motor on nitrous, 45psi boost sprayin a 100 shot.

The motor we run on the hills is a gas motor running 30psi boost sprayin a 35shot but IC affect nets it almost a 100hp.

gas motor is 531hp maxed at 36psi

alky motor is 614hp

even still i would expect to see it at the planetsand races to mop up against everyone else.. if you were to run it in the open classes..or heads up classes youd win against even packard ent. nothing would have a chance against something that ran in the 2's, and i could see that record being held for a long while..

i would still like to see a slip/vid of it on that pass..

I've got about 5 videos of the busa running, but I can't post mine either. I do have the 106 up olds. I've reduced the size of the vids down to 200kb and they still aren't accepted by the site. I'll try changing the format and see what happens. :shrugani:
