350TwinDeathBed
The guys over plant sand working on complete bullet transmission. The first demo will be out in feb 15. I don't think it's going to be cheap though. Mattoon already has billet cases out. So f--k yamaha. 459207 I fixed it. Go see 459229 No, you didn't. slowpokebanshee
example A: Volkswagen beetle (not the stupid new one) you can completely build one out of a JC whitney catalog, and a junkyard. example B: 57 chevrolet convertible Chevrolet made somewhere around 3,000, and now there is approx 20,000 registered? as long as there is a market for parts, parts will be readily available,
2003LimitedBanshee
How about the "New" Camaros from C.A.R.S. Now officially licensed by GM to be called the Camaro. Order it up and all the parts come to your door truck freight. I don't know if Banshees have quite that kind of following, but somebody will keep it going. aguita
and anywayz who wants to have a stock banshee?!..i RARELY visit the stealership for parts..fer example if i get in a crash and broke an a arm i wont go to the stealership and get a stock a arm..so we dont need yamaha for parts!..there r plenty of ppl who makes parts for banshees better than stock..u can built a banshee from ground with only aftermarket parts! no need for yamaha..they already supplied what we needed..now we dont need them

shanYE west
What I think will happen is that yamaha will slowly stop making parts for it one part at a time. I'm guessin they'll start around 10 years after production stops. I used to work in the parts department at a yamaha dealer and people would want parts for like a 72 street bike and some parts would be available still while others weren't. So I think yamaha will follow in that same line with the banshee. But with the aftermarket following of the banshee there's really no need for OEM parts. I think Yukon makes a trans set for a banshee?
MILO
anytime something breaks or needs replaced, i see it as an excuse for an upgrade from stock, so there's not much of a need to go to the stealership for parts. especially considering that sometimes, a better performing aftermarket part is cheaper than the stock pos anyway. i wouldn't doubt that you could build a shee from the ground up with aftermarket parts. now that would be a project bike! take the best of the best of the aftermarket and start from scratch. the most hp and bling that money could buy! i challenge somebody from the HQ to take it on! who's up for the task?? lol. helldriver
well the 250R has been gone since 1989, and you can still get virtullly every part for it, aftermarket mostly, but point is they are still out there
