banshee long time
trying to decide on a 6 or 8 over..I rode a 8 over bike was hard to turn..6 would be easier, but I might have too much motor..I am 180 lbs...the frame is still stock..I do have +2 over arms already up front.bike is a 05..what do you guys think? thanks
locogato11283
for regular dune riding id stick with +6 or less if possible. for dragging you better be about +8 or over or im thinkin your ass will see the sand frequently.. 2bzy2p
10 mill cub. you better go more than 8 on the sand ull never hold it down with reasonable paddles if u didnt go with many paddles than u would be alright but just spin,, dirt 8 sounds good if its loose
reded
8"-10", 6" will be too short with a 10mil. Turning ability will be sacrificed, but it will be much more fun to be able to turn it loose without the bars smacking your teeth.

reded
Loco is right on my dimensions (tires and swinger). Yes, it is a handful at times and am in the process of having a +8 built. I can't launch near as hard as I want to and it pisses me off at times.
eehsnab2
I'm running +8 with 14/45 gearing, 22 inch 10 paddle ultralights with my 4mm cub and I have trouble keeping the front end down when I launch. Good luck going any shorter than that with the 10mm. You can get away with shorter for general duning but dont expect to win any races trying to keep that front end down coming out of the hole... Just my 2 cents.

Malott 1
I think most 10 mill cubs are straight line bikes. A buddy of mine was running a 10 mill cheetah a&s did and he had to run a +10 arm. And had to have the wheelie bar on it. He tried a couple times out on the dunes without the bar and the bike was to violent.
