BigRed350x
Who sells the gussett kit that you can weld in? I am going to strip down to frame for powdercoat here in a couple months. I wouldn't mind making that little frame as strong as I can while it is being torn down. - Jared

trinityshee
i just like to jump and i have seen subframes twisted and front ends bowed out so if i could make it a little strong that would be better while i got it appart
gipperz
I use my plasma cutter for everything, making gussets should'nt be a problem at all. Try to tig weld everything, it just isolates the heat better or a mig would work to, either way just make sure the metals clean. Good Luck
GleasmJA
Anyone with some better pictures.... I'm in the same process with my shee. I was doing the steering stem. But haven't heard of the other areas. Maybe pics of what you have done or just better ones of the areas that need it.

Same here, I know the steering hoop, and rear shock mounts are weak point, but I wasn't sure of any others, any pics of fully gusseted frames would help, I only wanna have to do this once. Thanks! :beeer:
LiftdT4R
I know this thread's a year old, but I was never able to find a gusset kit, they make the for the 450s, but not banshees, and I am at a loss for what areas to gusset, and what to use to strenghen them. kaotik1
Okay I took a few pictures, and hope this helps. Mind you this is from what I can see, being there is not a kit on the market that I have found. That 400ex I am building needed a gusset kit, and I got it from Bare Performance this is what they look like Seond thing I did was note where they all went of the ex frame
