superdave Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 Got the motor back together with the new dune/play port from FAST....started on the second kick..went through four to five heat cycles to get the rings seated...and then took it down the street...I was short shifting it to make sure the jetting would not lean out on me for the cold weather...anyway...the thing gets it...I mean it gets it.....power all over...just what I wanted....D Quote

superdave Posted January 10, 2006 Author Report Posted January 10, 2006 (edited) Jetting is the way it came from Trinity, except I put the 195 main jet in it(biggist that came in the kit).....I am at 4800' , but it is like 30 degrees in Colorado so that is a big difference. Start big and work your way down...my .02...Dave I have not opened the carb to check the sizes due to wanting it rich and not really jetting it until it warms up or I head to the dunes; and I can really ride it...D Edited January 10, 2006 by superdave Quote
