98twin350
Im have a 98 banshee with allot of mods done to it, and im toying with the idea of throwing a streetbike engine into the old frame, i just got a new yellow frame so i have the old one laying around with wheels and everything cause i saved all my old parts when i got the new ones for my shee, all i really need is an engine so i was thinking of putting a streetbike engine in it. ive heard of cr 500 engines in banshees and the powervalved 350's but i want a 750 or something. any suggestions as to what the best engine to throw in a banshee fram without too much trouble would be? id greatly appreciate your help. thanks. -Dave

jjfizzle51
i dont think a shee frame is best for a streatbike motor i see them comon in 400ex's and raptors though but you can try it i think a cr 500 will give you all the power you could dream of i dont know do what ever you want not much help either
locogato11283
banshee frame is no good for a streetbike motor..raptor frame is a much better idea..cottoneyedjoe here on hq is doing a f4i in a banshee frame. there is not really much left of the stock frame. hes custom made most of it...here is my 600rr conversion into a raptor frame. The only parts I kept was the part where the a-arms bolt on, and where the swingarm bolts on. The rest of the frame I bent up myself. Finally OUT OF WORK, but I have a mill that needs some wrenching on. But monday I think I'm in the clear to start working on it again for a few days at least. I'll see what I can do for pictures. Its still ugly.
