Banchetta
mid to top end i have pro-circuit but was woundering if t5s were better 456510[/snapback] Either you don't understand the difference or you don't know what you need.....You first said you wanted a set of pipes for the trails, which tells me that you need a lot of midrange w/ really good low end...a mid to top end pipe is worthless in the trails. Obviously you know that now since your pc pipes are dissappointing to you...they have no low end. For tight trails where in always in 1-4th gear, then go w/ the 2 into 1 exhaust. If you want the best low end pipe w/ twin exhaust then get the Pt mids from Duncan...they have incredible low end, awesome midrange pull and really good top end power. If your wallet can't afford them, then get the fmf gnarlies or sst's..they have decent low end, good midrange pull and decent top. Comparable to the pt mids, on midrange and top, but the mids pull better on the bottom. The T5's are no better in the trails then the pc pipes. They are both a high rev pipe.. crazywheelerman365
Pipes !! I've ran FMF Fatties and pro circuit platinum's with 304 silincers and needless to say my FMF's are still hangin on the wall..
96dragbanshee
You say you are using these for trail riding i would definately suggest CPI pipes they have the best low to midrange power increase. If you plan to port these are definately the way to gol. They are better than toomys and cheaper the PT mids.

I've never heard of a "bottom end" CPI pipe... T5s, Lightened flywheel and get an adjustable timing plate. Set the plate at +4...live happily ever after. Love my T5s, but they really started to shine in the trails with the timing and lighter flywheel....even my buddy on his 450R noticed a big difference when he jumped on my shee... If you want us to help, we need specifics...if you want more revs, more low end or are you just looking for more power??
MILO
i've only had the stocker's and my pc's, but i can't complain about the pc's. i ride trails and open farm areas and they seem pretty good all around. the low end bog is pretty rare, mostly if you are really puttin around, but it's nothing that a little slip of the clutch won't fix. i like the look and sound of the pc's better than a lot of the others anyway, so i've never had a reason to try to switch yet. most guys recommended the pc's when i was asking about getting some for a fair mix of trails and open riding. most of the others seem to be a bottom end, or top end pipe, and pc's are a good mix of both.
