fernando427
Im sick of how stiff the front of my banshee is. Its ok in the dessert but in the rutted dunes she bangs the hell out of me. My dads raptor rides like a caddy so i need to do something. I am gonna buy elka dune edition shocks, i know plus 2 plus 1 arms will make my bike more stable, But will it make it smoother. IM ok with the stability of my bike so do i really need arms or will the shocks do just fine? If i dont get arms i can use the extra money and maybe get tcs? what do you guys think? Wallrat
No you don't neccesarily need different arms as whatever shock you get can be valved/sprung for your weight/riding style/arm length/terrain. The only problem will be if you think that you might get wider arms at some point in the future. If you do, then you're going to need a revalve at least and possibly a new spring. Personally I'd go with TCS if you can afford em. Great shocks!
corkforbrains
At this point, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with them...I've got everyone wanting them and all I wanted to do was help out a kid that sounded like he could use a break, been nice if he answered back before all of this got started. Where are you located and you do know these aren't in perfect condition right? At this point, I'm kinda hopin someone runs off with them before morning... sanddragon2004
If your going to spend the money on shocks you would be much happier with any brand of +2 a arms especially dor desert racing. it will make the bike more stable at high speeds. and give you more travel as well. (well the shocks will do that more then anything.)
